Eyal Ofer is the chairman of the Monaco-based Ofer Global, active in shipping, real estate, technology, banking, energy and other investments.
Eyal and his brother Idan, also a billionaire, are sons of shipping magnate Sammy Ofer and split his assets when he died in 2011.
The elder Ofer brother has expanded these holdings significantly. Through Zodiac Group, his shipping company, he now owns and operates nearly 190 ships.
His real estate portfolio spans more than 120 properties around the world and includes 15 Central Park West, 1250 Broadway and 50 United Nations Plaza in Manhattan.
Eyal's other assets include the VC tech fund O.G. Venture Partners, O.G. Energy and stakes in the public companies Mizrahi Tefahot Bank and Royal Caribbean Cruises.
