Wang Jian

About Wang Jian

Wang Jian is the president of BGI, one of Asia's largest genomics companies.

Wang worked as a senior research fellow at the University of Washington between 1990 and 1994.

Wang Jian graduated from Central South University and holds a master's degree from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.

After graduation, he performed postdoctoral research at the University of Texas and the University of Iowa from 1988 to 1990.
