Tanya Saad? Zeenny is the daughter of late shipping magnate Jacques Saade, who died in 2018.

Jacques founded CMA CGM, now one of the world's largest shipping companies, in Marseille, France in 1978.

Tanya jointly controls the company with her siblings, Rodolphe Saad? and Jacques Saad? Jr., as well as her mother Naila.

In 1995, Tanya set up CMA CGM's communications department. She now heads the company's corporate social responsibility department and the CMA CGM Foundation.

The $47 billion (revenues) company operates more than 500 vessels, serving 420 commercial ports in 160 countries.
