Jacques founded CMA CGM, now one of the world's largest shipping companies, in Marseille, France in 1978.

Tanya jointly controls the company with her siblings, Rodolphe Saadé and Jacques Saadé Jr., as well as her mother Naila.

In 1995, Tanya set up CMA CGM's communications department. She now heads the company's corporate social responsibility department and the CMA CGM Foundation.

The $47 billion (revenues) company operates more than 500 vessels, serving 420 commercial ports in 160 countries.
