About Suna Kirac

Suna Kirac is the youngest daughter of Koc Holding founder Vehbi Koc. Since contracting ALS in 2000, she can only communicate with her eyes.

Koc Holding has stakes in businesses that comprise Koc Group, which operates in four main sectors: energy, autos, durable consumer goods and finance.

Other activities include technology, food, retail, tourism, agriculture and shipbuilding. Koc Group has 14 companies traded on the Borsa İstanbul.

Kirac started writing her memoir before her illness. It was published in 2006 with the title "My Ideals Last Longer than my Life."

With her husband she founded the Pera Museum, which exhibits historic weights and measures, tiles, ceramics and Orientalist paintings.
