About Sara Liu

Husband and wife Charles Liang and Sara Liu founded server and storage maker Super Micro Computer Inc., commonly known as Supermicro, in 1993; it went public in 2007.

Liu is a senior vice president of Supermicro and also serves on the company's board of directors; Liang is the CEO and chairman.

Headquartered in San Jose, California, Supermicro is a large supplier of servers and server systems to semiconductor firm Nvidia.

Until 2019, Liu also served as the company's treasurer, a role she had held since Supermicro's founding.
