About Ricardo Po Sr.

Ricardo Po Sr. founded Century Pacific, the Philippines' leading exporter of private-label tuna products, in 1978. He remains chairman emeritus.

Po, whose early business was advertising firm Cathay Promotions, lost most of his fortune in the 1973 stock market crash.

Through his Arthaland, Po also has interests in property development.

Century Pacific has a major stake in fast food chain Shakey's Pizza, which went public in December 2016.

His son Christopher is Century's executive chairman; another son, Teodoro Alexander, is president and CEO.
