Philip Fayer is the founder, CEO and chairman of Canadian fintech firm Nuvei; he owns 24%.

Nuvei in went public in 2020 at a $6 billion valuation and raised $700 million, the largest tech IPO on the Toronto Stock Exchange at the time.

The firm, based in Montreal but with staff across six continents, processes payments over 150 currencies and generated $1.2 billion in 2023 revenue.

Fayer, PE firm Advent International and others are taking Nuvei private in a deal that is expected to close in late 2024 or early 2025.

Fayer, a Canadian native, was reportedly raised in Israel and Belgium and is a pilot and race car driver.
