About Michal Strnad
Michal Strnad is the owner and CEO of Czechoslovak Group (CSG), an industrial holding company that produces ammunition, special army trucks, army vehicles, active radars, among other products.
In early 2026, he took the company public on the Euronext Amsterdam, raising $4.5 billion, one of the world's largest listings in the defense sector.
Strnad inherited CSG from his father in 2018, who founded it in 1995.
The company is the fourth largest ammunition producer in the EU, and traditionally one of the big defense industry producers in Europe.
CSG also owns a traditional Czech watchmaker, PRIM.
