About Lin Por-Shih
Lin Por-Shih is the president and CEO of Taiwan Glass, one of Asia's largest glass suppliers.
The company was founded in 1964 by his late father, Lin Yu-Chia, who took it public nine years later.
It has five plants in Taiwan and 15 in mainland China after expanding into the region in 1993.
Por-Shih's older brother Por-Fong and younger brother Por-Chun serve as the company's chairman and executive director, respectively.
Por-Shih was indicted by Taipei's local authorities in December 2025 for filing fraudulent business documents in an equity transaction in 2020. Taiwan Glass subsequently made an announcement, claiming it has no impact on the company.
