Jayshree Ullal has been president and CEO of Arista Networks, a computer networking firm, since 2008.

The publicly traded company generates more than $9 billion in annual revenue.

Ullal studied electrical engineering at San Francisco State University and engineering management at Santa Clara University.

She did stints at Cisco Systems, semiconductor firm Advanced Micro Devices and Fairchild Semiconductor before joining Arista when it had no revenues and fewer than 50 employees.

Ullal owns around 2% of Arista's stock, some of which is earmarked for her two children, niece and nephew, and sits on the board of cloud computing company Snowflake.
