About Hiroshi Okura & family

Hiroshi Okura started cosmetics company Noevir Holdings in 1964 and is currently chairman, while his son, Takashi is president.

Okura says the products were inspired by a visit he made to Germany's Black Forest region.

The company implements an Avon-like direct-selling business model, and has subsidiaries in the U.S., Canada, China and Taiwan.

Noevir Holdings listed on the JASDAQ market in 2004 and on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2012.

Noevir Holdings posted nearly $480 million in revenue in the fiscal year through September 2020.
