About Fan Hongwei

Fan Hongwei is the chairman of Hengli Petrochemical, the main listed arm of Hengli Group.

Her husband Chen Jianhua, also a billionaire, is the chairman of the parent company.

Fan worked as an accountant before establishing a textile and silk trading business with Chen.

The couple later acquired a state-owned chemical fiber factory and expanded into petrochemicals.

Their daughter, Chen Yiting, served as a director of the group's OTC-traded tourism arm Suzhou Wujiang Tongli Lake Travel until 2022.
