Ding Shizhong is the chairman of Anta Sports, one of China's largest homegrown sportswear makers.

It sells under a range of brands such as Anta, Fila, Descente and Kolon Sport.

In 2019 the company led a consortium to acquire Finnish group Amer Sports, with brands including Arc'teryx, Wilson and Peak Performance, for $5.2 billion.

Amer Sports went public on the New York Stock Exchange in February 2024, raising $1.4 billion.

His older brother Ding Shijia, who serves as the company's deputy chairman, is also a billionaire.
