As executive vice president and chief financial officer of Nvidia, Colette Kress has helped oversee one of the greatest revenue growth stories in tech history: In its 2024 fiscal year, the chip making giant recorded $60.9 billion in revenue, 15 times what it was a decade ago.

Kress first joined the company in 2013, reportedly after the endorsement of her two sons, who knew of Nvidia because of the chips in their favorite video games.

Before joining Nvidia, Kress spent three years as chief financial officer of a Cisco division; before that, she worked for 13 years at Microsoft.

One of Wall Street's hottest stocks in 2024, Nvidia's market cap stood at a cool $3.4 trillion as of December 2024, up threefold in a year.
