Chen Bang is the chairman of Aier Eye Hospital Group, China's largest ophthalmology chain by the number of outlets.

The company has opened nearly 900 eye hospitals and centers in China, the U.S., Europe and Southeast Asia.

Aier is headquartered in Changsha in central China's Hunan province.

Chen dabbled in property and overseas investments until meeting a retired ophthalmologist, who inspired him to open his own hospitals.
