About Cai Jianyong

Cai Jianyong chairs China nickel supplier Lygend Resources & Technology, headquartered on the coast of the East China Sea.

He founded the company in 2009, after nearly a decade in the commodities trading business.

Lygend trades and produces nickel products, essential for stainless steel and electric vehicle batteries.

Lygend went public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in November 2022, raising money to expand its operations in Indonesia, home to much of the world's nickel resources.

Cai graduated from the Shanghai Institute of Building Materials Industry.
